    Hillarious.

What exactly has Blake done better than Miller this year? Are you guys serious? Trade Miller, Keep Blake?

The only reason i do that is because Miller has more Value. I agree that Bayless should play more and who better to learn from than a true PG.

But seriously, Blake sucks....I hope he gets traded...

And im glad "fans" on this forum dont appreciate what Miller COULD bring to this team, and NBA execs share the opposite opinion.

No one hates Miller. Blake gets 100x more heat. Miller's just not the right fit.

I was a big proponent of the signing and have been very down on the way he's been used, but I'm increasingly of the above opinion. He and Brandon just don't play off of each other really well and spacing has been a problem

Well, if NBA execs really love him, then I hope we can really get something for him in trade; but considering how little demand for him there was as a free agent, I'm not getting my hopes up.

I like Andre Miller, he just is a poor defender and he doesn't seem to fit this team. One thing with Blake, he hasn't been hitting his 3's, but you know that he has the potential to get back on track with those. But we know that Miller will never hit 3's. And this team needs guys who can hit 3's.

Miller will be too old when our window is open, therefore he is basically useless right now.

Neither is a good fit for this team.

I'd like to take up for Miller, but he's only marginally better than Blake. Both have had plenty of opportunities to win the starting spot, but neither deserves it after getting their asses handed to them by Bayless.

I'd like to see Steve get traded, and have a feeling that he will be the most in demand due to his expiring contract.

Look, our offense just can't change that easily. A fast paced Brandon Roy is a mistake making Brandon Roy. Miller is defiantly a better player than Blake and maybe Bayless, but his lack of a shot makes it extremely hard for him to play with Roy. Bayless, in limited minutes, has already shown more of a shot than Andre has, so the team is probably going to go that direction with Blake as a backup.

I don't mind if Blake gets traded. I don't mind if Miller gets traded. Miller, though, is just not the right player for this team.

Miller is the odd man out. He's not a great defender. He's not really creating much for his teammates and he's not shooting all that well. Blake was in a slump but he broke out of it tonight and I expect him to start shooting better again. Miller can't shoot so good riddance. Bayless can get to the hoop and shoot from the outside. Miller is unnecessary and as was previously said, Miller's career will be over by the time our championship window arrives. Lose him now.

I feel the Miller thing would have only worked out had we gotten Turkoglu. It would have made our defenses a lot weaker but I think they'd play off of each other very well.

Of course, I could be wrong and him plus a healthier Blazers team would equate to pure dominance.

We are 9-2 when Miller is in the starting lineup. :dunno: Just saying...

I think Miller has gotten us off to pretty good looking starts the lasat two games. I am fine with him not playing in the 4th if it is working for us. I think that Rudy, when healthy, can be the 3rd guard in the 4th, as opposed to Blake, alongside Roy and Bayless.

LOL it's simple for me, neither one has or or has been playing well and Bayless is breaking out and easily offers more than both - NOW and especially in the future. As long as Bayless gets 30 MPG a night I don't care "for now" if he starts or not, but he should get more minutes that Blakey or Miller IMO.

It's not Miller hate really. I am supportive of him. I just think he is making too much money for the production he's putting out. I blame Nate not being able to use Dre to his skills, but it's obvious Nate really isn't going anywhere. Blake may not be here next season either. I think the future will be Roy, Fernandez and Bayless as the main guard rotation, with a filler player or two. What's nice is Webster can play 2 as well.

This isn't going to realistically happen.

It was up to KP to bring in a guy that could fit with the team.

KP went out and did the opposite of that.

He needs to make a deal to rectify this mistake.

I have nothing against Miller. On a different team he would great.

But Portland doesn't play the way they would need to for Miller to thrive. And they aren't going to in the next year or two either.

Yeah, as long as Miller is here, this is how I feel too. Let Miller help the team set the tone early. Then, if Bayless is playing well, let him finish. I like Bayless and Rudy as the options next to Roy in the fourth quarter...either someone who can draw fouls or get to the line.

That is exactly how I see it.

Miller can create the offense in the first and third quarters. He can get some easy buckets for LMA on the break and allow Brandon to play off the ball and conserve his energy for 15 minutes a game. Miller can post smaller pg's. He can mix up our offense and push the pace. Miller can also get some burn when Brandon is out of the game and we need a guard who can create with the ball in his hands.

Now for most of the 4th quarter Brandon should be the primary playmaker and Bayless/Blake/Rudy can play off the ball and space the floor. Miller is of little use playing off the ball when Brandon is running the offense. But I don't want to see Brandon running his clear out play for 30+ minutes a night. Roy is deadly for those final 8 minutes of the fourth when he is fresh and the rest of the team is in a good rythym. But when Roy is creating on his own for the entire game the rest of the team starts to stand around and watch, plus Roy is too fatigued by the end of the game. Let Roy dominate in the fourth and let Miller work his butt off in the first.
