Now that the Blazers have lost a couple, I think Miller might have a few things to say. His body language in the 4th spoke volumes. Volumes, I say.

Any gripe of his will be legit. Bayless was too out of control in the latter parts of that fourth quarter, and should have been subbed out for Miller.

He should be irate about Nate's 4th quarter rotations. 10 seconds in the 4th tonight is inexcusable when we see the team melting down under the pressure of a mediocre team like the Grizz.

Nate is a moron. No way around that conclusion.

I hope if Miller has something to say about his playing time/roation, he says it to the coaching staff so they can communicate directly, not through the local media.

The Grizz are 15-8 since they waived Iverson.

They were very beatable tonight. We gave this one away with poor shot selection and bad rotations.

Give the Grizz credit. They were down 8 on a road with a few minutes to go and they regrouped and won the game. They're a playoff team and ZBo's an All Star.

Actually if you look at it, the problem wasn't players out of control or making bad decisions down the stretch. Every player on the Blazers made mistakes down the stretch, not just Bayless. Roy made mistakes. Howard made mistakes. Webster made mistakes. About the only guy who didn't, was Aldridge, who really didn't touch the ball much. No the problem was much bigger than that. The problem was that the Blazers quite moving the ball, and went to isolation plays for Bayless and Roy and stood around and watched them pound the rock to burn time instead of playing to win. When you stand around and pound the rock, and everybody just watches, all you get out of it is the typical results of a guy going 1 on 5. Not good. What you would probably call an "out of control" attempt.

Which is why Andre, who can distribute the ball AND post up (unlike anyone else on our roster currently) should have been in the game.

The coach told the team to play not to loose instead of playing to win.

Miller wouldn't have done anything differently then the other guys.

Um, you are aware that fans only choose the starters, right?

And pointing to fan voting as evidence of "reality" is something only a Laker fan (or family member of McGrady or Iverson) would do.

Is there a way to track how well Webster plays when Miller is on the court against how well Webster plays without Andre? It seems to me that the major reason for Webster's upswing in offensive numbers is Miller playing more with Blake out (and pushing the pace in a way that Nate seems to find objectionable).

That's a good point. He's played better with Bayless also.

You can argue that. But the offense was stand around and watch a guard dribble. I don't think it matters if it is Roy, Miller, Bayless or Patty Mills for that matter. When you run a stagnant offense that doesn't move the ball, you get jacked. Go back and watch the film. Nate called "Ice" like 8 times in a row.

That points more to "Martell is playing better recently" than to "It's Blake's fault Martell sucked earlier."

Folks are just going to have to get used to the fact that its going to be a crapshoot on whether the Blazers will win from night to night. When you allow your opponent to shoot over 50% every night, and don't win the rebounding battle, chances are you are going to lose. I don't care what plays were ran at the end of the game, who was in or who was out.

When your opponent is shooting over 50% you are not getting it done. When you have no bigs, you aren't going to stop other teams from shooting that percentage.

The same for rebounding. Every game the Blazers have won since Pryzbilla went down is directly correlated to winning the rebound battle.

To me, Miller's body language said, "I'm exausted. I want to take a nap."
