stat of the night: kobe 32 points on 37 shots roy 32 points on 11 shots edit:^^^great minds think alike mgb!
OK, I have to say it - that play with 30 seconds left, where Miller was "hogging" the ball, and Roy moved without the ball and got the easy basket - that was why some of us don't believe the whole "Miller and Roy don't fit" claim. Instead of an ISO by Roy, they played team ball and got a big bucket. I hope Nate (and Roy) were paying attention!
Wasn't he already relegated to the bench and had his PT cut way back? I'd say he's already been cut waaayyyyyy back.
What a spectacular victory! So that's 9 straight wins over the L*kers in Portland? That is simply miraculous.
Blazers made them look silly all night. Loved the effort from tonight and they're gonna have to bring even more of it against the Cavs on Sunday. We win that game and HCP has to eat his own jock strap.
Credit has to go to our coaching staff. Great team D and great help D. We made life difficult for Kobe.
Is there a way to pretend the teams we play at home are the Lakers? That brings out the best in both the Blazer players and the crowd. If we did that we would be undefeated. As it is we have 6 losses at home, two coming at the hands of the freaking Grizzlies and the Sixers. If we play every team like we do the Lakers we would be near impossible to beat at home.
