Of course, how many times has Rice been right on his predictions? Anyway, he thinks Haywood will be a Blazer by the deadline. Outlaw/Blake for Haywood/McGuire works under the cap, for example.
Rice is losing his mind but I would actually like to see this trade happen. Haywood is a solid big man.
Haywood has an expiring contract, so the only way he gets traded is along with a BAD contract - like just about every other Wizards players.
That's a solid trade. Haywood is having his best year as a pro and could be the difference in many of these close games when we can't get a board in key situations.
Yeah I could see it I guess. Blake at least gives them a cheap serviceable point guard with Arenas out indefinitely and it doesn't hurt their bottom line to take him (along with Travis) on to their books. Who knows if Merlin is correct, but this is a trade that actually makes some sense. I like it for the fact that who knows how long it's going to take Joel to come back and be healthy, and having Haywood's bird rights (assuming he plays well) isn't the worst thing in the world.
rice said we would draft la... rice was very quiet about deals last year... rice isnt as clueless as u think... he talks to lots of people.... this is good news but..... see my sig....
Don't let mixum fool you like he fools himself(see his sig). Last year Rice predicted the Blazers would trade for Kirk Hinrich and they didn't. KP is smarter than that.
Now, Haywood's a banger I can get behind. Short, reasonable contract. Very good rebounder. Hard worker.
The patterns say the Blazers lose every game they get out rebounded. This would be nice to fix it, but I don't see what the Blazers have to offer for him.
