IF Webs ever does solidify his reputation as a defensive stopper, he will owe that in great part to Nate.

Martell's really stepped his game up the last 10 or so games on both ends of the court. Glad other people are noticing and giving him some credit. and by other people I mean espn analysists.

Suppose everyone here agrees with me that broy should be higher than 9 on MVP list. More like top 5 at least especially doing it with a summer leagueish team.

Nate is in the running for Coach of the year.

Oh, and Zach Randolf is in the running for defensive player of the year. :)

I actually think the #9 spot is about right. Those are some class players ahead of him. Sure, you could kick him up a notch or two, but I am fine with his current location.

Nope. I look at that list and you can pretty easily make a case for all of the guys ahead of him to be there.

its no coincidence Martell's improved play has come w/ heavy minutes playing with Andre Miller. A guy like him (w/o a strong handle) is helped so much by a REAL PG. He'd be doubly helped if he played in a real system w/plays too. Once Blake comes back I expect him to disappoint many once again.

Just think of what Martell, Rudy, and Batum could do with a PG like Miller and motion schemes out there.

If Roy's going to be in the top 10 for anything (that he's not already top 5 in) he should always, *always* be #7. :D

Motion schemes? That's some crazy talk with Nate as coach!
