We beat Spurs in San Antonio with more than half our team out including Roy.

    Lakers' depth = weak

ha! That'll be the day that Farmar leads the Lakers to victory like Bayless did.

You must get an erection over the Lakers' or some shit. You always have their cocks in your mouth.

BTW, never got a chance to post a congratulations on your prediction of beating us.

Lakers bench just revealed about a lack of scoring threat. Wheres the machine? We have more talent than the older lakers bench.

Interesting to see how the Lakers fare tonight at Dallas. 2nd of back to back, after getting drubbed by 20 the night before . . . when you look at their schedule from now until the end of February - it's brutal. 14 of the 22 games they play are against .500 or better teams, and 9 of those are on the road. Of course the Lakers could still win 60% to 70% of these games, who knows?

I'm not sure how I feel about the Lakers losing to the other top teams in the West. On one hand, it never hurts my feelings to see the purple and piss go down. But on the other hand I'd almost rather see the Lakers beat all the teams we are jockeying for playoff position with.

The Lakers merely need Gasol back in the lineup. With him they're one of the top 3 teams in the league. Without him they're the equivalent of a 4 or 5 seed.

Good point. Bynum played well last night (or at least his box score would indicate that he did) 23 Points, 8 Boards, 2 Blocks. But Gasol is so much more dynamic, and the two of them together is just a touch match-up for anyone.

With Kobe + Gasol = best record
    With just Gasol = 8th, 9th seed.

It'd be interested to see the Cav w/o Lebron play the Lakers w/o Kobe.

You all know it's 8 on 5 when you play the San Antonio Sterns on the road.

Jalen Rose missed the memo. I saw him a week or two ago on TV saying that Orlando, outside of the Lakers, had the most depth, meaning he thought the Lakers had the most depth in the league...

With Kobe/Gasol, the Lakers two best players banged up at the moment, it made me wonder what Blazer fans would prefer -- Would you rather have Lamarcus/Roy out for an extended period (I know the Laker injures are relatively minor but for the sake of arguement..) and otherwise be healthy, or would you rather have Oden, Joel, Batum, Outlaw, Rudy, and even Blake out and be otherwise, *cough* "healthy"? It's a testiment to how great Roy is that I actually paused, but I would personally take the former if I had a choice.

No thanks, it would be boring as hell.

Can you imagine if the Lakers and Cavs meet in the finals and Kobe and LeBron both go down with injuries. That would instantly turn that series from David Stern's favorite wet dream to his worst nightmare.
