Wonders why, oh why, Nate doesn't have Andre setting up the offense late in games, as opposed to Roy's ice ball. Calls it a waste of talent. (even though he also LOVES Brandon's game.) BTW, Baldwin is in the process of setting up a movie production company in Portland. He lives in Lake Oswego. Also, he's reached out to Tiger Woods in effort to potentially help Tiger deal with his "personal demons." Baldwin has helped many other people deal with substance abuse and other issues via the 12-step program.
He's also hosting the Portland Music Awards which are run by this guy... http://wweek.com/editorial/3411/10266/ who claimed to have funding to bring MLB to Portland...and is the king of fictional self-promotion.
I don't know how many times you have to watch Portland play a good game and then revert to running a 1-4 flat "Ice" play over and over the last few minutes of the game, and watch all of the young players tense up due to not being involved, before you figure it out.
from wiki: Baldwin spent two weeks at the now-defunct treatment center Anacapa by the Sea in Port Hueneme, California, for treatment of addiction to cocaine. In 1998, he was found running naked through the halls of New York's Plaza Hotel shouting "Baldwin" and was arrested for possession of cocaine. He pled guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to three months in drug rehab. He later told People magazine he had been battling a cocaine addiction since 1989. On April 22, 2006, Baldwin was arrested after police received a call that a woman had been threatened at the Ocean Park Motel in Santa Monica.[7] Authorities subsequently declined to press charges. He was arrested again on July 19, 2006. According to the police, Baldwin ran a red light after weaving through the traffic in West L.A. just before 1 pm. He then crashed his rented Ford Thunderbird into two parked cars while going 80 mph in a 35 mph zone. Jason Lee, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles police, said "The Thunderbird pushed one of the vehicles about 20 feet, and that was a Hummer." Police say Baldwin was driving with a suspended license at the time of the crash. He was transferred to UCLA Medical Center with back and neck injuries, but did not appear to be seriously hurt.[8] On November 7, 2006, Baldwin was arrested in Santa Monica, California, after allegedly stealing a white GMC Yukon SUV, according to TMZ.com. The actor was taken to jail and booked for investigation of grand theft auto. Bail was set at $20,000. "The car belongs to an acquaintance of Mr. Baldwin, but he had no permission to take it," said Jim Amormino, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Department.[9][10] The charges were subsequently dropped. On February 6, 2007, an arrest warrant was issued for Baldwin in Newport Beach, California, by the Orange County Superior Court for his failure to show up for an arraignment stemming from an auto-theft charge.[11] At the time, Baldwin was in Detroit, Michigan, filming a movie. He turned himself in to police on February 20 and pleaded not guilty to his charges. He remains free on bail. Less than a year later, Baldwin had to be cleared by Judge Nancy Newman of wrongdoing due to a court communication error related to a separate charge.[12] An arrest warrant had been issued for Baldwin, the reason was Baldwin's failure to appear in court to report on his progress in a drug rehabilitation program. Unconfirmed reports placed Baldwin in Toronto for the filming of a movie.[13] Baldwin starred on the VH1 reality television show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, filmed in 2007, but left the show after the fourth episode. His stated reasons for leaving included having a prior commitment to an acting job and the others' behavior interfering with his recovery, but after his departure a fellow rehab celebrity, porn star Mary Carey, claimed that he had been sending her inappropriate text messages. Clearly he is a wizard at making correct choices.
Why? Alec Baldwin is famous for screaming profanities at his young daughter and leaving her a long, mean-spirited phone message. He's no saint.
Nope. I don't even need the brother of someone famous sittling in the front row and getting play on the local sports radio station. I was just commenting on the difference between these two particular Baldwin brothers. BNM
