But I'm torn on what the Hawks should do.

On one hand, i'm thinking that using the 6 and 14 to get Russell Okung (LT) and CJ Spiller (RB/KR/PR/playmaker) would shore up two holes. Platoon Forsett and Spiller in the backfield, give Hasselbeck another year with Housh, Branch and the gang, and bring in Alex Gibbs (OL Coach) to implement a zone blocking scheme. Spencer, Unger, Okung isn't a bad start to an O-line.

Then again, with STL not sure they want to take a DT first, I'm wondering if it's worth trading 6 and 14 to get up to #1 and take Suh, and then go to a 3-4. Lofa, Hill, Hawthorne and Curry are too good not to be on the field all the time. STL will still have a chance at Bradford at 6

I say the Seahawks go for Okung, but from the looks of it, KC will pick him. Spiller looks like he'll still be there by the 14th pick.

Curry is getting a lot of interest from other teams, and to be honest, the Hawks don't really need him all too much with the emergence of Hawthorne who's flat-out been better than him. Maybe you guys can trade him for some needs. Curry + Burleson for Brandon Marshall perhaps? That would be a steal, thats one option you guys can go. Marshall will give the "looking for Hasselbeck's replacement" plan an extra year or two to stall.

    My mock for hawks

    1st Round
#6- Russell Okung or Eric Berry if both are gone (which i think they will be), move down if possible late 1st round, and get a 3rd round pick
#14- Depend on what happens with the 6th pick, but i could see CJ Spiller

    2nd Round
    Alterraun Verner CB, UCLA

    3rd round
    Ciron Black OT, LSU

    4th round
    Alex Carrington DE, Arkansas St.

    5th Round
    Dan LeFevour QB, Central Michigan

    6th and 7th Rounds, BPA

I agree with the Spiller pick for round 1. But the Hawks are more likely to draft Taylor Mays than Eric Berry. Mays is really close to Pete Carroll. To be honest, the Hawks would draft Sam Bradford, Russell Okung, and Mays (not to mention, a local product) before they take Berry.

2nd round, not too sure if Verner will still be there, but it'll be a domino-effect after the first round. There's no way they would go CB after picking up an offensive lineman. It makes no sense, especially for the Seahawks. Besides, cornerback isnt a glaring need the same way QB, OT, and safety are.

And there's absolutely no way Lefevour drops to the fifth round, unless he runs a 6.99 40 time and fails his physical. Don't get me wrong, he can drop, but not to the 5th.

This is probably way off, but what about best OT available at 6 (there'll be one of Davis, Okung, Bulaga and T. Williams available), Iupati at OG at 14, and trying to go after Reggie Bush when/if NO cuts him?

Stud Rookie OT/Iupati/Unger is a decent line to build around. And if Matt's upright, he's still decent. We have some serviceable receivers. I'd like Suh, but that's a pipe dream probably. LB is ok, and nothing we do with corners is going to make us better unless Pete's system upgrades it in general. So I'm probably Ok with spending 2 first round picks on OL.

The Giants cut Antonio Pierce. MLB is officially the team's most pressing need.

I don't get paid for this, so it shouldn't count. :)
