Like MikeDC said, we have more good players to go around with a few less teams. It's less work for DD. If we have an expansion draft next season, we'd all get to protect a certain number of players and the rest would be up for grabs to the expansion teams so they don't get screwed.
I was pretty shocked too, especially with this being a keeper-style type of thing. I'm happy with my first and second rounders though, that's for sure. I have my dominant, prolific scoring wing player and a guy that can be an absolute force in the paint.
can we pleeease make the 3rd and 4th rounds 4 hours? With all of the expected missed picks, it'll make it more interesting.
My only gripe with this is if my pick comes up while I'm at work, I'm guaranteed to miss it because I have no access to here during work.
do what i had to do and pm a list to DW if we dont speed it up this is never gonna get off the ground, we'll be lucky to be in rnd 5 by all-star weekend....
The sad part about this, is that I've PMed pretty much everyone, unless I was asleep, when their pick came up or was near. Yet they don't make their pick, even if its skipped, AND I see them online here. THEN they make their pick like a day AFTER their pick was skipped, even though they could've picked the night before!
is there an option to drop the team number? looks like boston and dallas could go and we could lose the wizards too and make davis a no-pick.... these things only survive on the support and dedication of the owners - if we're going to weed out the heeldraggers start now
At end of 2nd round, I'll reevaluate. IF those picks are still skipped, they will be dropped. I'm pretty sure I can get a GM for the Wizards, if I spent the time on my other forums elsewhere to get one guy over here. Right now, it's looking like CK and fawzi will be dropped.

I think we should start fresh. Then thru the season let it simulate injuries. Also if we go with a cap, I think we should go with a slightly higher cap then the current NBA. It'd be more fun that way, rather than us playing penny-pinching all the time in our first season, ya know?

pretty sure that yao isn't playing this year. why would he play when it's been known since the end of last season that he was out for this year?
