    you can get a used civic or accord for 8k and it would probably run better and be more practical.

    Pretty enlightening. Take a $2500 car and regulate it until it's more than 3x as expensive. And you can make a $2500 car if you're not paying union wages.

    Yeah but you'd lose out on getting to drive a new unsafe piece of shit!

    Reminds me of a Smart Car. They have Mercedes engines. I drove one quite a bit and while it wasn't a fun ride it was still kind of a neat car. Horrible for anything but buzzing around a city during a warm summer day, though. Not really cut out for Canada.

    It was AWD so its not as bad as you'd think, never managed to get it stuck, but also avoided trying to go through anything higher than a few inches because of its small wheels and tiny ground clearance.
