Our defensive energy needs to pick up, alot of poor rotations for some of those shots made by Cleveland. Also, Bynum and Pau need to man up.
I swear, Pau Gasol is a fucking pussy. I can see it in his eyes on the replays, he blinks intensely when he's just getting a little pushed. Bulk the fuck up. Hit the fucking gym for once.
Actually I'm more disgusted at how poorly Lamar defended. Not even a hand up? Give me a break. Also on a couple of LeBron drives, Ron funneled LeBron towards Lamar, if Lamar isn't going to block it and just back up and back up, why not just sit there and fucking take a charge? Alot of Kobe's drives, those layups he missed, when healthy are easy makes. I'm sitting in another forum listening to people saying LeBron is better than Kobe cause he scored 6 more points on less shots. Which is true, if Kobe was fully healthy. At least my star doesn't sit when he gets what? A minor finger jam or whatever the fuck LeBron sat 3 games for before, I know we made a thread about it. An unhealthy and injured Kobe, can almost keep pace with a healthy LeBron. People need to stop acting like LeBron is God and Kobe is some third rate scrub.
I don't watch LeBron much. Only if he's playing against the Lakers. But tonight my feelings about him have changed immensely. His team wins a regular season game at home and the guy acts as if he had just won the championship. He is one of thee most unprofessional, cocky bastards I have ever seen play the game of basketball. Like I said, I've heard of him being cocky but never really got a chance to see him act the way he did tonight. Makes me sick. Fuck my respect for him.
Amen. But you know what? Give LeBron the MVP of the season. Kobe will be much happier with that Finals MVP....2 in a row!!!! BUT, admittedly, I'm a bit nervous. Cleveland ran our shit tonight and in LA...... Sorry to say it but, we need to make one more move. Don't forget the Cavs have Leon Powe getting healthy......
On that same note, we didn't have Pau in that drubbing along with our injured Kobe. I think it's a wash really. Put it this way, the Cavs are hoping we are still unhealthy come playoff time. And honestly, I'd give the MVP to LeBron, he is playing amazing basketball, not only scoring, but rebounding and setting up teammates. Here is the knock on him though, he has to get to the Finals first. Even though Cleveland is better than an old Celtic team or a struggling Magic team, they still have to get out of the East. Last year, Boston was missing KG, and the Magic weren't really looked at being a title contender. Then the Cavs got beat by Orlando, and it would've been worse if LeBron didn't miss that buzzer beater. And to Patriot: LeBron has been doing this ever since his 2nd year. Been dancing around, parading around, doing this and that. He really needs to learn his role. There's a certain way you act around people, and its called respect. Today, his team was up 2 and he was rapping the lyrics to Forever on the Eminem solo. That's disrespectful, considering you lucked out on Pau missing back to back FTs. If anything he needs to be breathing a side of relief, cause it would've been even more pathetic had he scored all those points in the 4th, did that singing, and lost the game.
Let's not get mad at Lebron. We should be pissed at: 1. Artest guarding Lebron was painful, too slow. 2. Lamar guarding Lebron was painful, too lazy. 3. Pau guarding Shaq, lmao. 4. Bynum guarding Shaq, too soft (except for 2-3 plays) 5. Kobe shot too much, when he should have moved the ball around 6. Farmar is a huge ball hog 7. Shaq was a big factor
I don't see anything wrong with that, if you want to shut him up then win. Anyways, if last year taught us anything, it's that regular season doesn't really matter (swept by Orlando). That being said, there are obvious holes and weaknesses on this roster, which I won't get into, but you guys all know. Hopefully we can make some moves to strengthen the team before the deadline.
no. not even close. injured kobe has been blown away by lebron. healthy kobe was able to keep it "close" enough that kobe fans could pretend kobe was right there.
I have a question... how come kobe cant rack up on the assists when he's being double teamed almost every time he chooses to post up??? Damn... he started the game so well and just folded... as well as Pau!
I noticed our big men and other guards aren't cutting to open spots, that AREN'T across the whole court. Guys are just standing around.
