Re: Lexicon Puts $500 Blu-Ray Player In New Case, Charges $3000 Markup ...And Gets Ca There should be some civil penalties against that.
Re: Lexicon Puts $500 Blu-Ray Player In New Case, Charges $3000 Markup ...And Gets Ca Anyone who has the money to spend $3,500 on a BluRay doesn't care.
Re: Lexicon Puts $500 Blu-Ray Player In New Case, Charges $3000 Markup ...And Gets Ca if someone spends that much without checking shit out, they are to blame.
Re: Lexicon Puts $500 Blu-Ray Player In New Case, Charges $3000 Markup ...And Gets Ca Good for them. If people are stupid enough to buy it, let 'em!
Re: Lexicon Puts $500 Blu-Ray Player In New Case, Charges $3000 Markup ...And Gets Ca That's why I posted this. It's a great example of some of the BS that consumers have to look for. But more importantly there are now a couple of links/websites that consumers can use now. I read Consumerist all the time but the Audioholics I had never heard of. Lots of us do our homework by reading reviews and such before making purchases. The review on the Lexicon Blu-Ray player was great. It's not like it's an inferior product. It took someone to actually open the player up to discover what the real deal was. Also this whole incident helps to put in perspective the value of buying a THX certified product.
Re: Lexicon Puts $500 Blu-Ray Player In New Case, Charges $3000 Markup ...And Gets Ca People pay way too much for electronics. Especially TVs. I've always believed that brand names mean almost nothing when it comes to electronics. I've been buying no-name shit for my entire life and so far I haven't had a problem.
