Thinking, whoa, he must have had a wail of a commute from Lebanon to the game, tonight.

Which reminded me, are there plans to run MAX down to Salem? That would certainly have been beneficial in BW's case.

I heard about that a while ago but haven't heard anything recently. Years, in fact.

Supposedly there is going to be something better than Max here in the next decade.

High speed train service from Eugene to Seattle.

Also Wookee was trying to sell his tickets earlier today. I don't think he went to the game.

Why, was there some sort of I-5 pileup, or did it snow, or what? Or were you just daydreaming about Wookie?

Apparently, when it rains hard around here, the traffic comes to a standstill. Around 5:30, the radio was reporting it was a parking lot between Wilsonville and 217.

I pray for a highspeed train between Eugene and Seattle. It'd help a lot of the mid-valley people who have long commutes.

A bullet train would be hard to do with so many suburbs around. You'd have to buy so much fucking land or else go around the I-5 corridor. But it would be nice

    Truth.

I actually don't mind driving to Vegas. My fastest time is 2hrs 35mins, from my house it should really be 4, but it was 6AM so noone was on the road.

Then again, so long as there is no traffic, I don't mind driving anywhere.

I just hate driving back. Or on Fridays. When I drive, I keep my speeed at 99mph cuz I heard the ticket for triple digits is like a felony or something.

Airports are EXTREMELY easy for me though since I live 5 minutes from LAX.

I drink at home, call a cab, at the gate in 15 minutes, drink at the bar, hop on the plane, throw up at McCarrarn Airport, party time.

Generally when I go to Vegas, I drive back on a non-traffic day and I do so in the early morning. My average time to band from Vegas is 3hrs either direction. It's a pretty okay drive for me, I just hop on the 405 ->133 -> 241 -> 91 -> 15 Then it's straight away to LV :P

McCarran is an awesome airport, I've never had problems there nor have I felt packed there (I used to live LV btw, for 2yrs.)

I HATE LAX though. I always have to pick up and drop off my parents for their international flights and the pickups just suck. People can't drive, won't let you into the lanes, it's just very lame.
