This is America. You need at least 2 above-average breadwinners just to afford healthcare, and those brats better find a job as soon as they can walk!
As somebody who travels for a living i would stay home in a heartbeat! Clean, cook whatever! I do agree with the above caller though that both parents need to work to live comfortably. Mrs "THE" stays at home and we manage. Don't get me wrong, I am compensated well, but if she worked too, we would be very comfortable. And as a freelancer, I take care of all the healthcare, no help from employers.
Do the Blazers not hire the tv production crew directly? Or do you just stay freelance so during the off-season you can work on other production jobs like with your golf channel thing?
They have an in house production crew. 3 of the 6 of us that travel are freelancers. It does allow us to work for other companies, so that is cool( like next week at the NBA all star game). But I receive no benefits.
I am one (stay at home) and work part time. She got on my case about things i wanted for my car or computer but i didn't bug her on what she bought which was daily clothes to wear. She had a lack of sexy drive as we worked opposite schedules and just wanted to come home and watch tv shows for 2 hours and then she went to bed. Probably another reason why this marriage failed and she blames that it was our fault that we didn't spend time away. I don't think she even cared about the relationship and just worked and spent time with the kids when she got home. I always took them to the park on nice days and once a month she would take them to the zoo. We never did family things at the park after she came home because she wanted to de-vegg and didn't want to deal with the kids. Even though I am with the kids for 12+ hours a day by myself.
Will you be working for TNT during that or will you be doing something closer to home? Do the Blazers compensate for you for the hotel/meal expense on traveling days or do you have to take care of any of that? The benefits thing must suck, especially since you've got a family. Of course the kids probably think your job is awesome since they get to meet some of the Blazers (gathering from that photo you had of them with Brandon, I am assuming those were your kids. Unless there's something you aren't telling us..)
Nm Benefit part does suck! I will be down in Dallas for TNT. When I travel I'm with the team on the plane and hoteland they give us per-diem. It's a good deal. Any companies I work for pay for travel and hotel.
I'd be prone to saying I'd be willing to do it, if I was married and thats what we agreed to. Of course, when I wasn't doing the 29 hours worth of work in the 24 hour day, I'd be trying to come up with projects to do to make a little side money. Of course, that's much easier said than done.
As a man, I expect to be supported, taken care of, and treated like a Prince. Where else can she find knockers like these?
I don't mind it as long as I am appreciated at home, but in my case I'm just a roomate. Now I just need to find a female that cares about me and likes to have candles lit in the bedroom and dresses sexy for me once in a while. She was a bore.
