It'd really be nice to have Przybilla and Oden again, fuck. So fucking gay.

True. I forgot nate missed those dunks, layups, easy shots, while throwing away inbounds passes and getting killed on the glass. What an idiot!

I forgot Nate was the coach and hasn't fixed the inbounding issue that's been going on his entire stay here! I forgot Nate was the coach and was supposed to adjust accordingly while the game is going on!

Silly me, Nate is just the guy who goes "guys we gotta rebound, gotta hit the boards, remember to hit the boards, grab the balls, go up for the rebound guys, GOTTA GET A REBOUND" in timeouts! My mistake.

Interesting that the margin of defeat was the same as the margin of difference on the boards. I'm sorry, but Aldridge and Howard being outrebounded by 30-12 is absolutely abysmal. I didn't watch the game - only caught the occasional update on-line - but that had to have been a painfully bad game to watch, after the first 20 minutes or so of playing time.

They managed to set a team record with fewest offensive rebounds in the process with two.

Do you think they play bump all day at practice?

You're right, nate should spend an hour going over invounds after made baskets because Rudy doesn't already know better.

Atrocious. That's lack of effort, lack of focus, lack of something...

I remember someone once saying that close losses are on the coach, because you didn't draw up the right play, or you didn't anticipate the opposing coach's move at a critical time.

But blowouts are on the team, and especially, the players on the floor.

The Blazers are not 17 points worse than the LA Lakers at home (the injuries are no excuse, since LA was without Kobe). I realize Aldridge had a very good game against the Spurs the other night, and he may have been more important to that victory than any other player - but 5 rebounds, when Lamar Odom put up 22 is inexcusable. And I like Aldridge... liked him at Texas, and like him as a Blazer. But he's got a long way to go, still.

No doubt.. ugh, just a deflating game. Being at the game tonight, it seemed like the guys and the crowd just weren't into it as much with Kobe out. It didn't feel like going against the Lakers.

Doesn't excuse, though, the crappy play and bricked shots in the second half. They looked flat-out horrible. Very disappointing effort, but oh well, we move on. It's a shame the streak had to end this way.

    Lakers without Kobe

    Blazers w/o Roy/Oden/Przybilla

    Idk, seems unfair to me.

And my god is Bynum soft.

I'll say this though, despite this being the largest loss margin of the season, the fact that Portland's players have missed 240+ games and have only just now lost to a team by 17 or more is something. Not even the Lakers can say that.

I like the part when Bynum couldn't move fast enough laterally to keep up with the 37 year old Juwan Howard.

He must have had that the entire season. He's looked Sabonis-slow the entire season.
