With Nate doing such a wonderful job since all of the other players have come back, I am sure this will work out real well......

i much prefer Trout v2.0 or a "Rich Man's Outlaw" in Dante. brings pretty much everything travis does but also has a bbIQ.

What? You don't like when Travis turns an easy shot into a difficult one? That is why all the fans like him. All the shots he makes are tough. The reason all of the shots are tough? He makes them tough by passing up an easy shot. Got an open jumper? Why take it when you can take a one dribble jab step jumper with a defender on you instead? Got an open lay in? Why not take a jab step fade away jumper instead. Got an open dunk? Why not make it into an jab step fade away jumper?

I'm happy to see Travis back, but I hope his shooting improves from what it was when he played this season. I also kind of wish we could trade Bayless and Webster right now before their minutes completely disappear.

When I saw the title I thought you'd have some inside scoop on where he was being traded.

I haven't really thought that much about seeing Outlaw suit up in a Blazers uniform again, really since the injury happened. I remember thinking when I read the news that his days as a Blazer were likely over.

It'll be interesting to see what happens if I was wrong. I could see Outlaw really benefiting from Miller's ability to create open looks. But it also probably would mean fewer minutes for Cunningham.

I see some similarities (tweener forward, good jumpshooter, limited skills) but they're not really that similar overall. Cunningham is a much more consistent defender, but he doesn't have anything like the shot-creating talent that Outlaw has. And, while Cunningham is surprisingly good hops, Outlaw has awesome hops. Unless the injuries have taken that way...

I for one can't wait to have another player on the floor capable of creating his own shot. Also, the way our outside shooters looked last week, it will be nice having Travis sitting in the corner to knock down a trey.

Compared to some of the garbage Rudy's been throwing up at the rim lately, and with Martell's star fading again after the best month of his career in January, Travis will actually be a welcome addition if he can resume his ability to hit shots like he has been in the past couple of years. I'm sure I'll still cringe when he puts the ball on the floor and tries to dribble, or when he takes those off-balance, cockeyed 21 footers of his, or when he loses his man on a defensive rotation, but c'est la vie.
