I'm not sweating it. He'll live in a Toilettown motel for a few months and then re-sign with the Clips.
Unless he has a no trade clause in his contract, he can't block a trade. Since he was traded from the 50-win Nuggets to the 23-win Clippers for a 2nd round pick and didn't block that trade, I'd say it's likely he doesn't have a no trade clause. There are VERY few players in the league that do. Kobe is one. Not sure if there are others, but Marcus Camby would not have been a big enough star to have the leverage to get such a stipulation built into his last contract. BNM
since it hasnt gone through yet.. we should make a bet on no posting on here.. if it does/doesnt go through.
Probably assumed Travis is out for the year and won't re-sign with that garbage organization. Blake probably won't either. So, do we use our MLE to re-sign Travis this summer? I personally hope not, but I bet Brandon Roy is holding out hope. BNM
oh god here we go with the steve blake sob story from his wife. maybe kristin the deal isnt done????? its kpee here we are talking bout. dont worry
RicBucher Sources: Camby for Outlaw/Blake is not done. Still needs owner approval and could unravel, but looks close. Details on the mothership site.
Hmm. Two things. One, I want to bone Blake's wife. Two, my stomach is starting to revolt against this trade. It feels dirty. I love the deal on paper, but I guess I've kind of been sucked in to the whole "culture" and "chemistry" thing. I'm confused. Logic tells me that either way, a consolidation needed to happen. And either way, I believe this was a lost season. If Camby and the Blazers can find a way to get us to the 2nd rd this season, and then Camby leaves, I guess it's all ok. As long as Greg and Joel come back. And even if we don't make it to the 2nd rd, the consolidation has happened, and ultimately that is a good thing. I think. Confused.
