Every time I watch Boston they seem like a jump shooting team to me. (Except Rondo who can't shoot) But Ray Allen, Pierce, Rasheed, KG , eddie house.......they all shoot alot of jumpers. Nothing wrong with that if you make them. Pierce drives to the basket as much as Roy. KG posts up as much as LMA.
yup, if you don't have a dominant low post threat but can spread the court with a lineup of shooters, then slashers like Roy and Bayless can have a field day with room to drive. LA Camby and Howard can all pop a jumper and drag opposing Bigs out of the paint. STOMP

Defense on the other hand is still Boston's calling card, They are #1 in the league, where we are a miserable #17. Interesting to note, however, that before GO went down - we were the #2 team in the league in defensive efficiency. I know there was a lot of bickering at the start of the year when the team seemed disjointed - but I really felt that GO's presence made us a real title contender. We were playing suffocating defense before he went down.
