The fact that we can compare the two teams is cause for concern I thought Ric Bucher was insance and a Blowhard But Blazers need to address some major issues
the face that we are even having this conversation is because the team was decimated by injuries. I'm not saying this to downplay the Thunder.. but honestly do you think they can contend with the Lakers and Nuggets? Wouldnt say so. With this team and its Big men healthy.. the do. So unless Bucher said that OKC has a brighter future because how fragile the Blazers are.. then he wasnt correct sorry, but injuries dont make him right.
WINNER!!!!! This doesn't even take into account the large/or 8 pointish 4th qtr leads that are blown but end up being close victories for Portland. How some of you can't see this shit is just beyond me. Watch the final 4 minutes of every game PDX has the lead. The final 4 minutes are the Bermuda Triangle for this team.
I dont know if Oden and Pryz on the floor really get the Blazers more than 10 points in the 4th.... those are excuses, and giving up a 25 pt lead leaves u with no excuses
nowhere have I made excuses for the 4th Quarter execution tonight. I'm talking about this teams future overall.. in response to you bringing up Bucher. So not sure why you are bringing tonight up.
lol ok, i just saw highlights of OKC and how they have been winning everything of late + i am pretty deppressed, so i brought up the fact that maybe Ric was right....
which is fine.. But do you honestly believe with the Blazers healthy the Thunder are a better team? I know it sucks especially with tonights loss. But for me personally I try my damndest to not respond on pure emotion.
Blazers are Marginally better with healthy team this year, i would say maybe 3 or 4 games better, BUT, the Thunder are a lot younger
BS again - the age stat is merely being thrown off by the Blazers having a few old men on the roster that are not part of the core that we're looking at going forward with.
We would have sorted the chemistry issues by now. This team hasn't had an opportunity to define roles all season.
I did the math and got 23.18 ave age for Blazers and 22.91 for the Thunder. I hope our .27 year championship window doesnt close too fast
