I hope the Blazers aren't playing "not to lose" in this playoff race?

Body language was horrendous last night. Amazingly from our 2 best players. I have to wonder if they have the mentality of not to lose the playoff spot rather then win the playoff spot. Grizz arent going away and neither are the Rockets. Judging by the way the BLazers hod 4th qtr leads, im thinking they hope teams lose rather then just winning themselves. PATHETIC.

And watching them vs Denver was just an absolute joke. If thats how they treat big games. They should just hand the 8th seed to a team who wants a chance to at least try to win. You couldnt get a more putrid effort then that last night.

    :sigh:

Once again, people get hung up on the presentation, and miss the message.

Just another game where the heart, emotion, and effort just weren't there. Ho-hum. All is well. Rainbows and butterflies.

Every loss shows what heartless, gutless losers they are. If they had any heart, they'd stop losing games to top teams. Especially not by double digits. Teams who care never lose by a lot.

Do we really have to make every loss a referendum on the players' character? Do players ever just not play well, despite trying to play well?

Nobody is "missing the message". Reasonable posters just see that this is exactly the same "message" with a different thread title.

I suppose if every poster doesn't agree to the same exact "message" in the hundreds of similar posts, they must think everything is "rainbows and butterflies".

Sometimes presentation is important. It's like writing the Bill or Rights in feces. Or shouting a lullaby into your newborn's ear. You get the idea.

I get the message and it's the same damn thing every time. I still say we should make a Mixum Mega Thread and just let him talk to himself in there.
