My uncle was telling me that CRNAs make $190k a year or so.....they are basically nurse anesthetists and its pretty chill from what I hear....no malpractice either....make more than some docs too....average I saw online was like $160k but he hires them...fuck. wonder how long that schooling is.....
It's a hard program to get into. Gonzaga has a CRNA program, but it requires you to be an ER nurse for a specific amount of time. So you need 4 years of nursing school, many years of ER nursing experience, plus at least another 2 years of CRNA schooling.
My friend's wife just became one. Only downside is she had to move to Oklahoma for 2 years because that's the only place she could find a job.
