I realize that, I'm just saying, that Arnold is a cool guy, but just does generic fluff pieces. He has no "inside" info. Which made me think about how anybody can claim they are a team expert and get quoted in storiees on the other side of the country. Then board geeks take it as gospel.

i might be in the minority, but I'm ready to move on without CB. I kinda want us to miss the playoffs so we get our pick.

I disagree. I would remove Batum from the "whatever they want sans Roy".

I think LMA + Batum > Bosh, at this point, and even more-so in the future, as Batum progresses.

Roy, Batum and Oden should not be moved for Bosh, imho - unless it is just Oden and you pair LMA at the 5 with Bosh - which, quite frankly, would be very good as well.

I still think however that the risk/reward with Oden is worth the risk - because if he does pan out - watch out.

Even though Portland has no cap space this year I do think they are going to be players in the offseason. Sign and trades can work into Pauls deep pockets quite nicely.

    3-Team deal:

    Wade to Toronto

Aldridge + Blazer draft pick, to Miami

Bosh (sign and trade) to Portland

    done.

Eveyone wins, based upon what Toronto and Miami "could lose" if their players bolt.

PS: This especially well if Lebron stays in Cleveland - because if he does stay, the talk of Lebron joining Wade, etc. are over.

Bear in mind that Aldridge will be a BYC player. If you're going to include him in a deal, the Blazers would only get to count 1/2 of his salary. Toronto would be under the cap so that wouldn't be a problem on their end, but the Blazers would have to include more than Rudy's contract to make it work. LA, Rudy & Joel?

LA probably, rudy probably not, and depends on range for the two firsts.

They'd probably like to get out of Calderon's contract as well.

My guess is after NY (or Miami) makes their pitch to Bosh, you will take anything you can get in terms of compensation. And it won't be fair trade value.

I'd actually be pretty curious to see a team led by Aldridge/Calderon/Fernandez. That could be a pretty fun team to watch. Probably very fast-paced, which would play to Aldridge's (and Rudy's) strengths.

I would give Rudy and Bayless to them, if they wanted. With LMA for Bosh and whatever filler works. Bosh over LMA on this team would be freaking amazing.
