I'd love to see them hire Isaac from The Fan and pair him up with John Strong in the morning. That'd be a great show. I'm tired of CIP, he's more annoying now than entertaining. Dwight Jaynes is horrible. Worst on air "talent" in PDX. I dont listen to the MSP anymore because of them. I love Kenny. He's hilarious and very knowledgeable. Wheels at Work is the perfect mix of sports and guy talk. Jay is good too, but often times he's too much of a Duck and Trail Blazers homer.
Agree, I think Issac is really talented, i dont know if i agree with John Strong..... I would wanna see maybe a combo of Issac and that Rashad Floyd.... get some flavor in the morning!!!

I really like KV's style ... he's about the only honest voice on that Wheels at Work show, and he cracks me up on the fifth quarter, I'd love to see him go back to the morning slot.
Except thats Chad not Gavin Gavin started doing updates in the morning for cowheard 10 years ago and now is taking a job for the most important time slot of the day in the 8th largest media market, and he got there by hard work, somthing to commend not throw under the bus. Congrats Gavin
The forced "manspeak" between Gavin, Chad, and Dwight was what pissed me off about listening to them in the morning. The beer-swigging, titty-bar, ribald testosterone-fueled banter and the obligatory "dude"s, "brah"s, and various generic Tim Allen schtick-esque terms was funny for about 10 minutes, but then really got old and annoying after a while. You just got the sense that their wives just slapped the shit out of them when they got home for some of the retarded stuff they said on-air. I won't miss Gavin. He knew his sports, but he wrapped that knowledge too much in his act, like Rome does.
Also, a lot of the comments are that Gavin shouldn't sell his Portland home because the time slot he is taking over has chewed up about 12 different hosts already...they also referred to him as "another West Coast jackass"...sweet!
Gavin is a cool dude. I used to exchange messages on myspace with him when he was doing the blazer post game shows for 1080 roys rookie year. He def knows basketball even tho it didn't seem like it on the msp.
Besides his knowledge, Gavin has a great radio voice. And after listening to Dwight and Canzano, I really appreciate a good radio voice.
