Paul Allen found the energy to fire Tom Penn while undergoing treatment, didn't he? How hard would it be to have his assistant dictate a one sentence statement? I'd say making the decision to fire someone who has made you money would be a bit taxing, but maybe Paul Allen has Asperger's or something, and really does not give a shit.

Even if it's 100% true he's thrown so much shit against the wall in the last 2 years, there's no way you can take him at his word. He's just a back page rumor monger who belongs in the TMZ bullpen laughing at his own jokes and others misfortunes.

 

I didn't realize this thread was about Canzano. I get that some people can't stand him. Meanwhile, a lot of what he has written in this article falls in line with my own beliefs on Vulcan Inc. So, keep whining about Canzano, and I'll address the meat and potatos.

Thank you. And by all accounts (mainly Kenny Vance saying so yesterday) Paul's prognosis is very good; the health angle doesn't wash.

 

I have a good friend who worked for Vulcan several years ago.. She absolutely loved it there. Says they were great people, great compensation and benefits. Nothing but positives to say about the organization. She left a couple years ago to move back to Portland.

I seriously doubt Canzano knows what he is talking about.

I agree.. While I'm sure the recovery from cancer is his first priority, I agree with the premise of the column that PA could still come out with a statement regarding this little bit of a shitstorm his Vulcans have created. It's just a distraction right now, and will be until he does decide to speak or just decides to fire KP altogether.

But it seems like it's been Allen's M.O. over the years to come out publicly at the very last resort, so who knows when he will or not.

 

I'm sensing that Canzano isn't popular around here.
