This place won on the Wheels at Work bracket. Some kind of pepper jack burger. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaura...nnessee_Red_s_Restaurant-Portland_Oregon.html http://tennesseeredsbbq.com/Home_Page.html .
I actually had one of those the other day. To be honest, while the burger was great, I liked the fries better that the burger, itself. WHY DON'T THEY TAKE VISA OR MASTERCARD?!!!!
Produce row has great sandwitches/burgers as well. http://portland.citysearch.com/profile/8470135/portland_or/produce_row_cafe.html Tributes over off NW 21st and Kearny has really good philly cheese steak sandwitches. http://portland.citysearch.com/profile/8459556/portland_or/tribute_s.html
Two people have now told me that Calamity James in Sandy is the real meal (hamburger) deal. Anyone else attest to that?
Does anyone else remember The Carnival at the foot of Pill Hill? As a kid, that was my favorite place to get a burger.
Out of curiousity, where is Pill Hill in Portland? I grew up in Eugene and we had the same nickname for a certain area of town.
Haha, yes I did in fact. Place has been outta business for years but I always have fond memories every time I drive by the old location. I think it's like a Schucks auto parts or something now. BTW, anyone remember Arctic Circle?
hellz yeah! 5 Guys isn't too shabby for fast food either. I have yet to have a spectacular burger in Portland. I have heard good things about Mortons burgers though.
