look at the last 2 box scores and notice how outlaw isnt even playing on the lowly clips. maybe they figured out what took us 5 years. hes worthless if his shot isnt falling.

also blake is barely playing. wish they would waive him so he could backup miller in playoffs. blake > bayless at the moment and its not close.

btw... thanks clippers for ending the rockets season!!!!

That's too bad for those guys. I still think they're good guys and will root for them when we aren't playing them. It certainly looks like we fleeced them in the Camby trade!

they made the trade to save 3.5 million, not for talent.

Fuck Steve Blake. That guy wasn't taking us anywhere. The move was made in order to make the future bright, not the same shit, different year. We will take our lumps with Bayless and Rudy playing. Lumps that are better taken when a season is completely and totally fucked as this one, than trying to take them in a season that is meaningful.

So are you still saying that the Blazers don't make the playoffs this year?

I think Blake and Outlaw aren't playing because the clips want to evaluate their young talent...

Not really ... just head on over to clipsnation.com sometime and scan through their game threads, or better yet hop on atdhe.net or leaguepass and watch them play and you'll soon see why they haven't gotten much burn

I'm not a big Blake fan but I appreciate some of the attributes he brought to our team. I have a feeling we might miss his shooting during the playoffs. We really only have one guy who scares teams from the outside and thats Rudy. Blake could help keep teams from going into the zones we are seeing so much of and will likely see a lot of during the playoffs. Webster is capable but isn't consistent. So far I'm extremely disappointed in Bayless and think the back up/future pg position is our biggest concern this off season.

I think Nic has some potential as a zone buster, his percentages the past 2 or 3 games haven't been great, but he's been at above 40% since he came back from injury, which seems to suggest that it's not just some fluke.

Unfortunately we don't know what we'll get out of Bayless, Webster and even Nic. None of those guys have much experience of playoff/big game pressure. At least with Blake you know you could count on him to handle the pressure. It will be good for all of them to get the opportunity but it might cost us a potential 2nd round appearance.

Hopefully we are over the problems that the zone defense gave us because I expect us to see lots of it during the playoffs. Nic, Rudy, Bayless and Webster are going to have to hit their share of shots to give us any chance of advancing in the playoffs.

I think Blake was a comfortable fit for us, but might have kept us from growing because we leaned on him so much.

We are so much better with Camby than Blake and Outlaw.
