Miller has been probably the second-best Blazer all year. He kept the team afloat without Roy, he has really made the game a lot funner (not a word) to watch, and he makes players around him better.

With that in mind, lets Re-visit a thread from earlier in the year.

I always get worried when someone bumps an old thread, to see my comments in it, hoping I didn't make dumb predictions. Luckily that didn't happen there.

So are you going to tell me at the time when I posted that, Miller wasn't a bad fit here?

Some folks bitch about Blake getting moved, but you will note that Miller didn't even really start to play better until they committed to him and made that move. Chemistry matters. The chemistry was bad until Blake was gone. Blake was the Elephant in the room. The elephant, needed to go in order to make it work.

He was a bad fit because of Roy, it wasnt Miller who was supposed to be attacked, it was the others around him who made it difficult that should have been questioned

I never thought Miller would work well with Brandon. I was way wrong. The basketball we saw last night was some of the best I've seen in a long time. I wouldn't go so far as to say he has been the 2nd best Blazer - IMO Aldridge has been that guy (more minutes, similar offensive production, and better defender) - but he's been exactly the sort of playmaker this team team has needed.

The future can be very different based upon what paths are chosen. Andre Miller is playing ok now. Don't try to make it more than it is.

That's how trades like Jermaine for Dale Davis happen. One person is looking at the current moment in time, while the other is looking ahead.

Glad, I've been on the Andre bandwagon since we signed him!
Team MVP this year no doubt!

Uh no not really. At the time he was playing badly. Do you not concur he was playing badly? At the time he was butting heads with Nate Mcmillan and causing problems in practice? Is your memory so short? How about telling Bayless to make that free throw? Ring a fucking bell yet?

Right. Pretty similar numbers. Yet, Aldridge's Drtg is considerably better. It's close, but I give the edge to LA. That's just me though.

Everyone thinks that Miller and Roy play together fine now, apparently by blaming Roy's decline on injury. He's still not the clutch superstar he was last season, but that is glossed over in the pursuit of accepting Miller.

No, he wasn't a bad fit. A bad fit means he'd never have become a big contributor on thjis team...that's what being a bad fit means. He and the team were struggling because they hadn't learned to play together yet. Some of us saw that, some of you didn't. ;) Now that the players have adjusted, he's proving that he wasn't a bad fit.

As one forum member is fond of saying: Recognize your mistakes, learn from them and move on. ;)

Haha, Miller has made Roy less clutch! Roy used to have ice water in his veins, but Miller has drained him of ice water and made him an unclutch choker.

Miller has some god-like powers over the character and resolve of others. Hopefully, in the future, he chooses to be a beneficent god and not a spiteful one.

Miller has worked out in part because the team plays somewhat differently now then it did then.

Had they continued to play the way they were at the time of that quote Miller would still be a horrible fit. Luckily Nate loosened up a bit and the team runs more now.

Honestly I think Miller and Nate needed to figure each other out. I am glad they have done so.
