    This is in regards to me saying that a couple months ago that Nate hasn't made any of the young nucleus players better from last year to this. In fact they are worse.

    I was told up and down I had it wrong and that the Jesus Machine (PER) tells us Bayless is fucking awesome and Batum is Scottie Pippen's DNA equal.

    So let's review now shall we?

    Players this year Vs. Last year:

    LMA = worse
    Batum = better
    Bayless = worse
    Rudy = worse
    Roy = worse
    Webster = worse (Than 2 years ago)

    (The others are new in this this year or a wash due to injury)

    This is on top of the players looking bored and uninterested. Somehow Howard found some form, Nate tried to fucking bury Miller until he had no choice but to play him, and of course Camby is going to be Camby.

    Thank FUCK we brought in the old vets this season who know how to get it done. This team would be so far adrift without Miller, Camby and Howard it's scary.

    Nate should be giving them fucking hand jobs and whispering "Thank you" into their ears when he's done.

    Not buying this, given that LMA had to play so many different roles this year with the injuries.

    Yes.

    Nope. JB is much better this year.

    Yup. Could be that his back injuries and the loss of Sergio has been an effect...

    Not buying this again. Injury issues this year in addition to a big adjustment playing next to a ball dominant PG - and if anything - I think Roy has learned a lot this year, his play, when healthy was just as dominant - and he is expanding his game significantly being able to play off the ball much better.

    Not buying this as well. He is still the same inconsistent player he was (This year's PER is actually the best of his career) - while playing much better defense this year.

    Oden was much better before going down(check the stats)
    Batum is much better(check the stats)
    Bayless is much better(check the stats)

    Basicaly the 3 youngest players showed some big improvement. Hmmmmmmm....

    Roy = same(not sure how much room he has to improve, basically avg same numbers)
    Aldridge = same(avg less pts, but shooting higher % and avg more rebs)
    Webster = same(numbers are actually a tad down, but one hot streak changes that, so he's basically the same. When he was counted on to score he avg 15 for the month of Jan)
    Przybilla = same

    Worse = Rudy(missing too many open shots this year)

    Are a bunch of "sames*" good enough when we had the youngest team in the league last season?

    *Sake of argument

    Roy and Aldridge are done progressing?

    If that's the case, we're fucked.

    And anyone who thinks Roy is the player he was last year, needs to have their head examined.

    Your initial point of this thread was comparing players this year vs last year, yet now you're talking about something completely different and it's a whole other argument/topic. Stay on your own topic.

    So the point of this thread is to say we need a new coach and a new team?

    Interesting.

    Unbeavable. Nate has taken a team that has suffered more games lost to injury than any other team save the Warriors and guided it to the playoffs. Yet some still say he is a bad coach. Unbeavable.

    Howard, Camby and Miller have saved this team.

    The young nucleus is faltering.

    Remember when Nate tried to run Miller out of town?

    Top TOP coach.

    I have no doubt that Ronald can squeeze the life out of enough games in the regular season to get into the playoffs. I have serious doubts he can do anymore than that.

    I don't see how anybody can watch this team play, and not acknowledge that Roy, LMA, Rudy, and Blake all seriously regressed this season.

    Blame injuries? Sure....just remember that injuries hit every team, every season.
