    our lineup

    pg: caledron
    sg: weems
    sf: wright
    pf: bosh
    c: bargnani

notes: just got home and the raps are down 29-21 and apparently bosh got injured by an accidental elbow thrown by jamison

Cavs are just 6 point favorites. I think they should win by a lot more than 6.

A loss by Toronto helps my Bulls' chances of making the playoffs.

Maybe they'll rest the starters in the second half?

    Hope Bosh is okay.

i dunno about u but for the first time since i could remember- im actually pulling for crane's bulls because that means we retain our pick (lottery pick) and it gives mlse just cause to fire triano and or colangelo.

Miss the playoffs so we can get a pick one higher than we would otherwise? Playoffs, please.

no, we wouldnt have the pick because the pick would go to miami in the JO trade. and it would be around 12 because houston and memphis would have a better record than us

Ah, yeah, that great decision. Still rather make the playoffs.

we need to purge this team and a lottery pick is a start. why? lottery picks are cheap and u can retain their rights for 4 years if they are any good or u could dispense of them after two years. colangelo has built this team around onerous contracts (lots of money and lengthy term). in fact, in my humble estimation- acquiring young, unproven talent who come cheap is the only way we can remain respectable in the league if bosh leaves and we are burdened by the contracts of hedo and caledron.

^ Honestly though, would you trust Colangelo with a rebuild?

I wouldn't. He built the team once and here we are.

This was one of those "bet it all" kind of opportunities.

well as u know- i think colangelo doesnt deserve a contract extension by virtue of three highly paid and underperforming players: caledron (9 million per year); bargnani (10 million per year) and hedo (10 million per year). therefore, my entire scenario involves a purging of the front office and hopefully bosh leaving and us missing the playoffs again will give mlse the ballz to clean house.

I have no faith in MLSE's ability to find a better GM than Colangelo.

I've been a Bargnani doubter since day 1 and he's making me eat my words with his play, so I wouldn't say he is under performing.

We need to win some fucking games. I think with CB4 we can beat the Cavs, but than again, I don't think LBJ was trying very hard. I think Brown called it a "high intensity practice". Like, fuck that we can win, we have the talent but we can't be the Suns and old school Pistons at the same time. They're trying to outscore every team and are getting crushed because of it. BC better be shaking in his Hugo Boss attire because if we miss the playoffs (Which I don't think we will) We all know his chances of leaving are very high, unless we get a top 5 pick by not making the playoffs.

We have the skill, just not the right system. Get Triano outta here, please.

He also found Johnson, Weems and Wright. I don't think that completely makes up for the Hedo debacle but he's not a bad judge of talent. Also i dont think Bargnani should be lumped in with Calderon and Hedo just yet because, if you look at other young talented centres, i think his price is very reasonable considering that he's still young whereas Caldy and Hedo have pretty much peaked and may be on the decline

Not much of a surprise, it was likely between Weems and Douby for who would be released.

Do you think missing the playoffs will make Bosh less likely to resign?
