But do you want us to be Suns/Warriors/Knicks (no championships in the last three decades) or the Spurs (4 championships in the last 11 years)?

Sure, a different system would make him a fun player to watch, but would we win it all?

How often does Rudy play with Bayless? Perhaps, it's a Point Guard, or lack thereof, problem? :dunno:

To me, Rudy needs crisp passes - in rythm/flow - to be most effective.

Hmmm ... Rudy plays around 25 minutes a game and Dre is playing around 38 lately; there's bound to be some overlap there where Rudy should be able to get the ball in rhythm, but when I watch him lately he's not cutting like he used to and when he gets the ball he either quickly passes the 'hot potato' or takes some three dribble nonsense where he dances around in a tiny circle in a vain attempt to shake his man and inevitably heaves up some off balance, step-back, leaning side-ways garbage that (predictably) misses just about everything.

Natebishop seems to think he's sandbagging ... I'm not sure I'm willing to go quite that far, but this problem doesn't seem to be a teammate thing, it seems to be a Rudy thing.

Ultimately 'players make plays, plays don't make players'

I have seen plenty of crisp passes from either Miller, Roy, or even Bayless. At this point he usually just bricks the shot. I don't know what is going on, but his head does not seem to be in the game. As I said, this is hardly Bayless' fault for Rudy's suckage.

That's taking it to the other extreme.
Somewhere inbetween for pace and dynamics, like the majority of teams, would be fine.
Rather than playing at a snails pace.

If a player doesn't want to be here, then don't come here. Thanks for wasting about 2 years of development time we could have used on another guard. I also don't buy the blame it on Nate argument on this one. Rudy gets tons of open looks on this team and throws up brick after fucking brick. There is no excuse for that. You wonder why your getting yanked out of the game? Try hitting a fucking shot you pile of shit.

No. Navarro was an RFA. The Grizz offered a QO, but rescinded it. Navarro is basically an NBA free agent when his contract in Europe is up.

I overrated Rudy as a player. He is much more limited as an all-around player than I thought he would be coming into the league. I don't know if it's because he's so frail, or what it is, but he's at his best shooting threes off of penetration. Hell, I thought he may be able to become a PG when he arrived last season. There is no way that will ever happen.

Rudy seems like he'd have more fun on a bad team that runs. New York might be a nice spot for him. He doesn't play defense, but he runs like a gazelle.
