Re: I'm hearing....... Do us all a favor and title the thread "Outlaw out tonight vs. Trail Blazers" so we can avoid 6 other threads on this same topic in the next few hours. You dirty slut! http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-clippers-tonight-20100407,0,7114722.story
He's not taking it to anyone with his 11.6 PER as a Clipper. Now that he doesn't get to jack up crazy shots whenever he feels like it, it seems like he's finding the sledding a bit rougher. Ed O.
Could be that he's coming off a serious injury and is trying to fit in on a bad team as well. No need to bury the guy, is there?
It will be interesting to see what kind of contract Outlaw can get this summer. I suspect his value is dropping if he can't make an impact on a Clipper team. I don't think he will get even get the MLE.
I'm not burying him. He's just been lousy as a Clipper and I find it unlikely that he would have "taken it to" the Blazers tonight. Ed O.
I'm wondering what we might be able to sign him for in the off-season. He is having a horrible season and was making around $4 million. I'd love to pick him up for ~2 million a year next year on another short term deal. Resigning Camby has to be priority #1. After that we need to quickly look for any top tier MLE players. Once those are taken care of I'd be interested in re-acquiring Outlaw for a spark off the bench. He would be quite useful with our bench scoring troubles we have at the moment.
This has been a nightmare season for Travis. Just brutal to have a season like this in a contract year. I'd sign him if we can move Webster and/or Dante, Pendegraph. As our roster is today, we don't need another forward though.
