Also note that money from resale center sales is held until after the playoffs. Stubhub charges 15% on the seller end, 10% on the buyer, plus shipping, but pays within a week. With Stubhub also having other tickets to gain reveunue from, the Blazers are probably not making that much marginally on resell.

I probably did 55% of my sales thru the Blazers, 30% thru Stubhub, with the rest to friends and Craigslist. Craigslist is kind of a hassle and I heard last year that someone was using the tickets bought to conterfiet. With Stubhub or the Blazers, it would be easier to track.

Did the same as Brian with making a nice profit last year and a marked decrease this year. The 10% fee, interest in the team down, price increases, and the economy really bit into sales. Had five nice blue seats and was able to trade for a pair of row A in the 300 level just one section off center court for next year. Will sleep much better knowing I am only committed for 4k instead of 15k.

I have bought literally hundreds of tickets off of Craig's List...I have never had an issue, nor met anyone that has had an issue with a ticket. The only thing I've actually ever read about it is from someone that was pissed about scalpers using CL and his stories seemed entirely made up and just intended to scare people.

I'm sure it happens (especially with print at home tix) just I've never seen a credible report that it is happening very often.

I'll go half with you next year if your seats are in the 300 level. 200 Level and lower are too rich for my blood.

I've heard that if you post your credit card number here on SportsTwo along with the security number and expiration date the board software will automatically pick it up and clear any problems with online purchases throughout the entire world wide web.:pimp:
