I missed the first 4 minutes of the latest episode, can someone tell me who left from Tito's team.

Chris Camozzi left. His toothache turned out to be a hairline fracture in his jaw. They couldn't allow him to continue.

Third round of Tavares/Hammortree was awful. At least Tavarez was fighitng--Hammortree looked to just maintain position.

No, you're wrong speeds. Tito says he secured half mount, side control, and mount. Obviously, he won!!!

What a shitty fight, I felt bad for Tavares because he couldn't do anything. He wasn't strong enough to get out of Hammortree's grasp, but strong enough not to be thrown around. Hammortree is a horrible fighter.

Tavarez is catching heat for jamming his chin into Hammortree's eye during the fight.

Mazzagatti didn't catch it... imagine that (he also had to be told about seven times by Liddell that Hammortree was holding the shorts IIRC).

I don't know what it is about this series, and I know the fighting is bad, but I find myself more into these fights (and really pulling for someone) vs. when I watch the ulitimate fights . . . even when I don't know the result.

Strange . . . I think it is because you get to know the fighters (as someone mentioned)

I didn't think it was close @ all. I gave Rd. 1 to Tavares and rd. 3. Hammortree was just fucking horrible. He should have been able to throw him around. And when he did have a good position, he worked no Ground and Pound. Lame shit, Hammortree.

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 11: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz

I thought it was close since it would have just taken Hammortree capitalizing just a few times with Tavares down. He did not and agree that round 1 & 3 were Tavares.

Thought the Ortiz comments sounded like Tito thought it was going to be scored like a wrestling match. Agreed with the judges that it means little in taking someone down if they are going to pound you from their back.

Two fights tonight. Hopefully they are good.

From the looks of the promo somebody might get spiked and Jake Rosenthal might be the first ref to enforce the rule. Guess we'll see.

NSAC prohibits fighters from intentionally slamming opponents on their head.

    Damn near unenforcable.

Horrible matchup picked by Chuck in that last fight.

Felt bad for dude who broke his hand. I don't think he copped out, the knees were glancing but when you're throwing a knee that forceful...even a glancing blow hurts.

It was also more than one knee. There were already wild card spots available, a fighter with a broken hand, and previews claiming yet another injury to an Ortiz fighter. He will probably get another chance.

Still not a big Yager fan.

Re: The Ultimate Fighter 11: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz

He had no options. His good guys are spent. Maybe he could've taken one of his remaining guys and tried to pick off Seth but it is inevitable that Seth will fight one of Chuck's weaker guys anyway. At least this way Chuck got to decide who one of Tito's better guys got to fight rather than the other way around. Charles might've had a chance on the ground, I dunno 'cause we haven't seen Jamie on the ground, but I don't think there was a better match-up for Jamie in his team.

    *spoilers* (highlight to read)
Rumour is that Tito Ortiz was forced to withdraw from the show due to a flareup of his back injury which required either immediate surgery or extensive rehabilitation.
