Looks like the team got another make over again. Fortunately we have the following players back from the 2009 squad:

    Takayuki Suzuki
    Scot Thompson
    Alex Nimo
    Josh Cameron (injured in 2009?)
    Cameron Knowles

I do like our new additions to the squad, especially from other countries. This should give the timbers are more diverse group of players. Gavins (coach) style of offense is much more relaxed now as the players find ways to score. His previous style of defense oriented team wasn't working even the club posted a 14-5-9 record in his first year as coach.

The Timbers brought back most of the starters from last season, save David Hayes who was friggin awesome last season.

Keita, Pore, Farber, Claesson, Keel, McManus, Cronin, and Josten are all back this year too.

cool so just about a month later than what I had originally heard. For a USL team they sure are stacked.

I'll be happy to see Keita back. I'm not sold on Obatola at all.

obatola looked good tonight(assist and goal)

Obatola looked much better than in the first match, but St. Louis isn't much of a test though.
I can't wait to see him and Keita team up up top. Both players are really unselfish, and I think they will play off of each other quite nicely.

The timbers website needs to give us a stats page, showing the players who scored goals or helped out on assists, and what position that person plays in.
