Quick just reported that Coach Williams said Nic is gonna give it a try tonight. Watch Stat go right at his shoulder like Brewer and Mello did earlier this season!

:check: At some point when getting pushed around, we have to push back.

Oh, and put Nash right on his aching back, Ariza-style.

Or (going back a few years), Robert Horry style.

Actually I prefer that the Blazers do the pushing to start, and escalate it when the push back comes. As they say in MMA, don't wait for it. Let it happen.

How about putting J-Bay out there? The Suns know they can't put G-Hill on J-Bay. One quick, J-Bay crossover and Hill's weak ankles might just snap.

Funny. For a long time he was Big shot Bob. By the time his career was over, he was Cheap Shot Bob.

Yeah, he tore my heart out at my first Blazer game in the 02 playoffs, hitting the game winning 3 with like 5 seconds left. He's one of those guys that you hate when he's on the other team, but love when he's on yours.

Bravado aside, playing at 80% or less merely weakens your team and helps your opponent.

I'd rather let our bench step in at 100% and surprise the Suns.

    I disagree, I'd rather have an 80% Nic, then a 100% Martell!

    Here's some math for you

    80% * 50 = 40
    100% * 30 = 30

Sometimes 80% of something beats the hell out of 100% of another thing.

Nic has a great attitude for a guy with a busted wing.

Funny pregame shit! Nic was out warming up testing the shoulder ouy at about 5:30. Ex-player/now announcer for the Suns, Scott Williams was watching them like a hawk. Probably trying to get the lowdown to pass along to the team. As Nic was walking off the court, Williams kinda cornered him and was trying to get some info about how he was feeling........ Monty rushed over and waved Nic on, saying, "Get into the lockeroom, don't talk to him!" It was classic! Man, I love the playoffs!
