lol, Really though if you know a thing or two about basketball you'd agree that cavs do suck, and they're where they are now (top spot) thanks to the best player on the planet (who is twice the size of MJ, and still continues to improve) but they still lost to the bulls, it just shows you how bad of a team it is. Even their wins weren't convincing. (and remember bulls are without gordon)
Hey even LA didn't sweep Utah last year. They also got pushed to the limit against a hurt Rockets team, same thing happened with Boston two years ago. All that matters is if Cleveland takes care of business against Orlando.
The Celtics didn't look too good against that terrible Cavs team two years ago though. The early round stuff isn't definitive.
They'd lose to a lot of elite teams without LeBron, certainly I can agree with that. Maybe everyone in the West, and the top 4 seeds in the East? Against anyone else they have a shot with homecourt.
that's why they're not ready to win a championship, and shouldn't be called the best team. Lakers on the other hand have Kobe, Odom, Pau, who are stars. Cavs only have LeBron, while Artest and Jamison are same level IMO.
Sure, but that's without LeBron, something they don't have to worry about. The guy just doesn't get injured much (last time he had a long injury was a stretch of 5 games in the 07-08 season) and they clearly dominate the NBA except for Orlando. I would expect them to win a series against LA because Kobe doesn't look completely healthy, and Derek Fisher is the worst starting point guard in the NBA.
But you clearly understand they are a great team with LeBron, oh and they have him. The Celtics without Garnett, Pierce, and Allen would suck and the three of them = one LeBron just sayin.
They're not a great team, they have the greatest player alive, but that doesn't make them the greatest team, all you have to do is do good defending on LeBron and they just suck. (been proven before) what kills me is that teams are scared of them, and just loose their balls when playing against them and automatically choke.
They beat up LA pretty good and the East is very shallow this year. Regardless of what happens, LA looked stronger last season. I think against that team Cleveland would have lost (or it could have been a toss-up, something like that) but that doesn't matter. The Finals will be Cleveland vs Orlando imo, and the other teams won't matter.
Celtics will have something to say about that next round. And It'll be Lakers on top, unless C's get there, that's another story.
