Honestly, I can't stand front runners. We have a slew of Suns and Mavs fans in Portland from the last eight or so years of basketball, and I can't stand them. If you are from Portland, you should support the Blazers. Most of these people started watching the Suns or Mavs because they were winners, or they were fun to watch, but that's pretty lame. If you are from Phoenix or Dallas, that's a completely different story, but if you are from Portland and you live in Portland, why would you ditch your local team? I was a pretty big Pacers fan during the 90's because I loved to watch Reggie Miller. That affiliation ended whenever the Pacers played the Blazers though. I suspect a lot of fans have a second or third team that they enjoy watching, but that should not supersede the Blazers..... just my two cents. Don't even get me started on Lakers fans....
I was at a UO football game several years ago and a similar thing with a annoying booing crying man. When some Duck fans went up to start shit with him his friend jumped in and said he was disabled. When one duck fan said he does not look disabled, the friend repeated himself and stuck his tongue out with eyes wide as if to quietly say "he's retarded" without letting his friend see.
A huge Pacer fan as well since I am from Muncie. The Blazer/Pacer game is always my favorite game of the year since atleast one of the teams I root for will win. My son was also born the same year as the new football stadium and was appropriately named Lucas.
Yeah I wished to death I remembered my camera.. it was just so much fun. But Others in here have backed up my story Jlp
