ACDC Vs Iron Man 2 - Architectural Projection Mapping on Rochester Castle

On the site of a thousand years of violent history, ACDC were pitted against Iron Man in a ground breaking architectural projection mapping project. The front facade of the Great Keep at Rochester Castle, was brought to life using the latest in 3D animation techniques. This onslaught of the senses, saw the castle confront it's ultimate challenge. Warping, morphing, spewing and collapsing before the audiences eyes. Let there be rock!

Someone help my dumb ass. I have a 6 year old laptop mac (book?) and high speed wireless internet and I'm getting my ass kicked by this video (among others). Super herky jerky, lots of pauses, scattered sound. I've reset safari a million times. Maybe I just have too much shit on my hard drive? I don't know. I'm not a computer guy. But I want to see this appropriately! Sounds awesome!

I think my computer is just old as fuck.

LOL! I don't know Macs at all but oddly enough I just read this today. Sounds like it would help and solve the problems you are talking about. Let me know how it goes,

Yeah, really man. Your computer just had the bare minimums. My friend's computer has the issues and has twice the amount of RAM and cpu speed.

Yeah, you should really look at increasing your ram. If you don't have the manual on your laptop you can find the required info on the interwebs as to how much and want kind of ram you need but considering the age of your laptop you should be able to max out it with ram for $20. You should be able to find it used on craigslist.

Tripling the memory on that (I think it has 1.5GB max) is only going to make a small difference.

A mid-range laptop from late 2005 is not worth upgrading, IMO. You should be able to cop a very ordinary modern laptop for $400 if you shop around.

Again I don't know shit about Macs but going from 512k to 1.5gb's of ram in a PC is going to make a noticeable difference. Even doubling it to a gig of ram would make a noticeable difference in a PC. So if he was two slots for ram in his laptop and if it has only one slot filled he should be able to find 1 gig of used ram for $20. What's his Mac take, Laptop DDR or DDR2? I just gave away two 1gig sticks of DDR2 ram from when I upgraded my laptop to 2 2gig chips of laptop DDR2 ram. I only paid $30 total for those new at Fry's (after $20 per stick mail in rebate, lol).

Actually, I'm quite happy that my problem is that it's an old, slow laptop. I always think I can make it go faster. Now that I know I can't I'll spring for something new. Probably not a Mac, even though I've fallen in love with their operating system. Apple is way overpriced for what I want. I want I-Tunes and to be able to browse You Tube-type videos with ease. That's literally it.

    No problem!

But I still think you could do a mini upgrade and notice a small improvement. Also did you try that other internet browser? I take it that the reason that you first posted on this thread was because you couldn't see the video?
