So, we're one and done...OH LOOK! THERE'S A STEELHEAD RUN! :devilwink:

Seriously, where are you goin' fishin' now?

I'll be dipping a worm in the Little Deschutes in my back yard as soon as it opens, and I've got a trip planned to my favorite trout lake, Diamond Lake in August. There'll be some day trips to Lava Lake and North Twin early in the season, and maybe Crane Prairie Reservoir or Paulina Lake later on.

Did you catch TNT's graphic? I get that they poke fun at everybody, but I thought ours was more of a cheapshot than anything.

Family meets at Diamond Lake every year at the beginning of September. Great, great place.

I have never been so devoured by mosquitos as I was at Diamond Lake.

I guess that's why the fish get so big.

Man, I'm kinda excited about all this Diamond Lake talk. Here in Minnesota no one has heard or gives a crap about Diamond Lake.

My dad was the head chef at the resort there for many many years. Lots of good stories at that place.

My Dad claims I caught my first fish there when I was 3 months old.
