Just thought I would put this here for those of you who dont frequent the Timbers forum.. this is gonna be EPIC!

Basically a big effin deal! not on the level of Arsenal, or Barcelona, or ManU but I would say a tier below.
I fully expect the Timbers to lose 3-0 MAYBE 3-1 but for me it will be exciting to see a class club come here. I can only imagine the World Class clubs that will be playing here next summer.
There's still a Premier league club coming to be announced as well. A top 6 team apparently. Can't wait until next season
Good question, how many players on the Timbers squad now are good enough for the jump up in levels. I wonder how many from the Sounders stayed on. Is there an expansion draft?
I heard that too.. but that it might be for STH only I'm setting my deposit down tomorrow. But I doubt that gets me in for this friendly.

And some mixture of fireworks.. but I cant tell if people are setting those off from the stands.. or if they are behind the walls of the stadium.
It looks to me like the fireworks are set up in the aisle about half-way up the end section. And here I thought "I'm being tortured by directed energy beams from space" guy was fucking insane...
