Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. He doesn't look completely right. But Cavs fans accusing him of quitting, being lazy, not caring, etc. , are just stupid. He hates the Celtics I am sure it is killing him. I can't recall many players doing the post-game handshake throughout the whole series. I'd come down on Mo Williams for posing as a second option the entire playoffs.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. They haven't done it once, or I haven't seen it once for the games that I've watched. lol They hate each other more than LA vs Boston. (players I mean)
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. I think that is kind of badass. They're keeping it real. No fake "good luck" stuff.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. lol I agree, they're never joking with each other, or even talking when someone is shooting free throws.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. "I just witnessed" OMG HAHAHAHA And this lil gem: "Maybe if they had a dance contest they would win that" HAHA ROFLMFAO.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. Why are they stupid? He's supposed to be the heart and soul of that team. He is supposed to be their leader. He is supposed to be The Chosen One. I mean for fucks sake, he has it tatt'd across his back.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. To add to this he looked completely disinterested in the game last night too. He was passively sitting at the 3 point line far too often instead of taking the ball and creating.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. Because players have bad games. Playing like trash is not quitting or lacking desire. Right Kobe?
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. King said more. "It's just who I am," he said. "I'm not going to show you that I'm angry. If I show a sense of panic, guys follow my lead. If I come over here and panic and say, 'We lost by 30 and we don't know what to do.' That's not right. It's not who I am. It's never been who I am." Seems like the right thing.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. I don't think the Celtics are getting enough credit for how well they are defending the Cavs and winning the halfcourt battle. Last night they shutdown the Cavs perimeter scorers and put the onus on Shaq to carry the scoring burden. Maybe LeBron is struggling with the pressure?
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. Shape, I think you know what happened. You posted that fascinating Hollinger article. All his jumpers missed short and to the right, we can figure it out from there. He just has to keep driving and modify his shot, pray of course.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. I doubt he gives up, but I mean, we're all human. I'm sure he can see the score and think, we have another game. However, the hatred between these teams is what other teams need to have for each other. Makes it more interesting.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. He doesn't have the 'superstar' mentality, that's why he's not the best in the world. (aka kobe)
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. Lebron quit plain and simple. The reason why is the only real thing up for discussion. And I know I know, "Kobe quit in game 7 against Phoenix!!!". It's not the same thing. First off Kobe did quit in game against the Suns. He gave up. But hell he had Smush Parker and Kwame Brown as running mates. He was really in a no win situation and he decided to throw in the towel. The point was clear that he had no help. Quiting was wrong but I understand why Kobe did. Lebron's has no reason for quiting. It's game 5 in Cleveland, he has more than enough talent to beat Boston, and still he quits. He didnt play his game from the opening tip. At some point he has to take the blame for his team coming up short. Year after year the common excuse is that he doesn't have enough help. That excuse is so tired. It's time to own up to the teams failure. It's ridiculous how when the Cavs are steam rolling teams and guys are knockin shots down all over the court, Lebron just "makes his teammates better". But when his teammates dont play well and the team fails miserably, "Lebron doesn't have enough help.". He can't have it both ways. Like all the other stars, when your team wins you get the most credit and when they lose you get atleast some of the blame. You can't no-show like Lebron did and then come out and tell all your fans how you spoil them and this is only your 3rd bad game of his career. Show some humility. You don't have to panic. Just man up for once and take some responsibility with out telling us all how you're the MVP and The Choosen One. Like Mamba said, it's on his back and he won't let anyone forget it.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. How did he quit? Because of his greatness maybe. Kobe didn't do anything without you know who and who.
Re: LeBitch fans coming down hard on him. He quit playing his game. He wasn't attacking the basket and he wasnt even looking to score. He wouldnt attempt a fg for several minutes at a time while Boston was making their runs. He completely stopped playing his game. Everyone knows he wasn't in the game mentally. Have you ever seen Lebron play a single game the way he did in game 5? And Im not talking about stat wise, jsut the way he played. When did I ever claim Kobe didnt need help or that he won championships by himself?
