For the record, game 6, during the 4th quarter of Blazers vs Suns series, I predicted the Suns would win it all this year. I have a witness. Though now I'm starting to doubt it a little. The Lakers look good and the match ups aren't good for the Suns, but if J-Rich keeps stretching the defense and the Suns bench can play at a decent level, they have a great chance to win it all. But the difference now? Their on ball defense is the best in the Suns modern era. They might defy all logic when it comes to the "run and gun" offense. God forbid a team can play super up temp and play a little defense as well. That hasn't been done. And that's what Phoenix has been doing. They're fucking great.

 

I could see Stern actually wanting Phoenix to get into the Finals for his first time. Nash is loved by the media (rightfully so) and it would be a great story line (going from preseason goals of having a winning record to post season goals of winning an NBA chip). Next year is when the fix will be in once the big free agents find their new teams or stays with the same team.

 

Strange, you think they start a dynasty, and I think Amare bolts and they don't make the playoffs next year. PS they aren't getting by LA this year so their dynasty never is really going to start.
