I voted for the New Jersey Nets. They can build a championship team by 2012 just in time for their new stadium in Brooklyn.

Los Angeles Clippers. Good young core there, and he gets to have a short rivalry with Kobe ;)

I'm going with Chicago. He gets a legit 2nd option in Rose next to him, and if they can move Deng and Hinrich, they open up enough cap to go for another max guy.

I know New Jersey just came off a horrific season, but I still think they have the most upside.

Let's assume they get John Wall. This gives LeBron some solid, young players around him in Wall, Lee, Harris, & Lopez. The Nets can also sign another max deal player to compliment LeBron.

Their new owner said he'll blow right through the luxury tax in his quest to build a championship team.

New York Knicks. Biggest market. Big bucks. Endorsements. Mike D'Antoni. Chris Bosh.

The Nets are cool, but I just don't think LeBron will want to wait around for them to develop.

LeBron James needs to take advantage of his prime, not sacrifice a couple of years.

i don't see him wanting to play under Jordan's shadow for the rest of his career. And i dont think Lebron and Rose would work well together. I think he might stay in Cleveland because he probably doesn't want that last series to define his career in his home state

    Can D'Antoni win a title?

I voted for Knicks because he's been linked to them the most. And if he goes, he goes to a big market with a history. Cleveland is too small for him.

I don't know if Lebron really would sacrifice any years. I've believed all season that if Lebron went to the Nets (with Lopez, Harris, T-Will and Wall/Turner or traded it away for some really good players), they'd catapult themselves to probably the best team in the league along with the Lakers. That's one hell of a core.

voted Cleveland. I just think he'll stay loyal. Also its not like they haven't tried to put talent around him there.

I really wished Cleveland would have gone out and traded for Amare. A Lebron/Amare + great supporting cast would contend with that Lakers team as well.

Remember it even took LeBron a year to figure out the league. I don't think he wants to give up a single season of his prime.

Would Harris and Wall mesh together? Turner or whoever could be interesting also, but I'm not sure I'd be ready to put my trust in the arms of a rookie. Isn't Chicago more of a sure thing?

Also depends on other off-season moves.

    Yeah that's true.

Well like you said, it'll depend on other off season moves, but to be frank, a Harris/Wall problem pending could easily be fixed. Harris would be gone and traded to a team giving up some good shooters and rebounders.

What if the Clippers get the #1 pick? How attractive would this team look for LeBron?

    PG - Wall/Baron
    SG - Gordon
    SF - LeBron
    PF - Griffin
    C - Kaman

I think New Jersey's young core is overrated. The only player really worth keeping is Lopez and their lotto pick. Everyone is else is expendable. Devin Harris is 27 averaging 17 points and shooting a mediocre 40% from the field (28% from downtown). I'm also suspicious of any team captain that leads his team to 70 losses.

Why should LeBron sign with the Nets over the Clippers who have better young players, cap room, and a better market? If he signs with the Nets because of Jay-Z, then he's a fool and doesn't deserve to win a championship in his career.

How about the team everyone is sleeping on? Oklahoma City Thunder

    Westbrook-Durant-Green-LeBron-Ibaka

This team would be ready to compete right now. They also have two 1st round picks and 2 rounders this upcoming draft.
