    Yeah, he did a good job with Star trek. I don remember it having the pointless viral campaigns like super 8 and cloverfield though.

    To be fair, Abrams only produced Cloverfield. It wasn't directed by him like Super 8 will be. That said, I enjoyed Cloverfield. It was a fresh take on the monster movies I loved as a kid.

    I'm quite excited for this film as well.
