Iron Man 2 - 8.5/10 It was good, but not as good as the first one. Is anyone else finding this to be an extremely weak year for movies thus far? Or is it just me?
Sherlock Holmes 7.5/10 Downey Jr. is always entertaining, but I didn't care much for his accent. I agree with BrianfromWA, Paul Giamatti would've been a better choice for Watson. Looking forward to the next one.
Zombieland: 7/10 Could have had a little more action and humor, but it was cool. I think Dawn of the Dead (2004 film) pulled off this genre better.
Dude, Shape. Jude Law was awesome as Watson. Iron Man 2 - 7.5/10 Not as good as the first, but a great popcorn flick none the less. Funny as shit and some awesome references.
Wow, totally forgot about this thread. anyways, Robin Hood - 7/10. It was good. Not amazing. Great casting though.
Observe and Report: 7.5/10 It was fucking hilarious. R rated comedy though so don't watch it with the whole famz.
Seriously? You're the 1st person I've heard talk good about that movie. Maybe I'll check it out, HK. I'm dying to see Robin Hood. I love Ridley Scott and I love Russell Crowe. Reviews for it are mixed. I'm hoping when the blu ray comes out, it is a director's cut or something because Ridley Scott's director's cuts are damn good.
It is in that Pineapple-Express/Superbad genre. A lot of the same actors, could be acquired taste I guess. Very sharp tongues in this movie. My favorite parts were the cameos in the smaller roles (Kenny Powers dude, guys from "funny people", etc.).
It might not be absolutely amazing, but it's still epic. Russell Crowe is a beast. And who doesn't love Cate Blanchett?
Iron Man 2 - 3.5/5 Not a bad movie. Although I thought the first one was a bit more serious, especially in the beginning. Iron Man 2 was way more comedy than action. Definitely recommend seeing it if you've seen the first nevertheless. HK, I've come to absolutely love Seth Rogen. One of my top ten favorite actors for sure.
Brothers - 9/10 Great fucking movie. Thanks for the recommendation, Moo! Tobey Maguire's performance was damn good. He wasn't quite Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver, but he was amazing.
4 months 3 weeks and 2 days - 8.5/10 Very serious film, kind of a downer but done well. Watch it with adults. Absolutely, great suggestion.
