OKC would part with Green and probably Harden (plus Ibaka?) for Bosh, but there's no way in hell they give up Westbrook; it would make Bosh's reasons for going there a lot less compelling with him gone.

I do agree that Bosh in OKC would make them an instant contender. Regardless, I think the list is pretty telling; most of those teams are seen as likely landing spots for Lebron or Wade and if you're Bosh do you want to play alongside a small forward like Durant who rarely passes or a wing who plays more like a point guard (Wade and Lebron)? Playing alongside Durant, Bosh would take a hit statistically. From the looks of things he's not exactly thrilled about playing in a small market after 7 or so years in a cosmopolitan city like Toronto.

Sasha's contract expires next year. Let's hope we get rid of him or hope he rides the bench. ;]

I would find it amusing if OKC, the best team with cap space, couldn't land a single star. The price of leaving a good basketball town like Seattle for the middle of nowhere. At least it's not KeyArena!

I don't see any way Bosh wants to come to Portland. He'll follow Lebron or else team up with Wade in Miami.

Part of it is that they are saving their money for the upcoming HUGE salaries for both Durant and Westbrook.

Yeah I could see them being content to just get a couple draft picks from teams trying to get under the tax ala Kurt Thomas. I'm sure they would sign a Bosh, but they might not be interested in B level stars like Boozer or Stoudemire. That may be a better plan then signing such as the Pistons did with Ben Gordon, acquiring a player because you feel the need to get something.

If Lakers don't win the championship, look for them to aggresively go after Bosh
