How do I do that and still be able to watch the Blazer games??

Besides, I have a contract. If I break it (and then go with Direct or Dish) it will cost a substantial amount.

Now here I disagree with Canzano. Comcast was the highest bidder. They're paying the Blazers $10mill a year for 10yrs for the rights to broadcast Blazer games. Sounds like a fair deal to me.

Wow, relative to the Blazers' payroll, that seems like an awfully low price.

You should just be thankful they broadcast the games on Spanish radio.

The wholesaler overpaid the manufacturer for the widgets. So the wholesaler must demand a high price from the warehouse distributor, who is unwilling to hike his price to the retailer to pay for the right to sell the widgets. So the retailer doesn't offer widgets to the consumer. Whysit? Whitsitt would not have allowed this travesty.

And what are they asking for the rights to broadcast the games?

It's a frustrating situation. I think the group that has to move is the Blazers. Surely they have something in their contract if Comcast is unable to come to an agreement with the other major providers that they can get out of the agreement or force arbitration among the parties. It may mean the Blazers have to take a haircut of a million or two a year, but they could make it back with a participation clause in advertising revenue streams.
