Just curious. Are those stats for the post season or regular season?

These two statements tell me not to bother having a conversation with you. KG was cut down to 23 minutes because of foul trouble, Kobe played 35. KG was ineffective because of the Lakers, but Kobe was because of the refs. Keep making excuses, cry baby Laker fans....

Well, KG showed up Game 1, didn't he? He was shut down Game 1 AND 2. I don't see him being effective this series.

The stats say Kobe played 34 minutes, true, but at least 10 of those minutes he couldn't play aggressively. So, in effect, he REALLY played Kobe ball for 24 minutes.

And yes, KG's assignment is to guard Pau Gasol, the best big in basketball right now. His hands ARE full, like it or not. And Perkins is being shat on by Andrew Bynum. If you fail to admit this, there is indeed something wrong with you.

I don't know what you expect out of Perkins? He's not a star player, man. I'm not the one trying to make the excuses, either, so I'm not going to get into a back and forth over nonsense. I recognize the Lakers are a good team and I know they can shut down any of our players on any given night. I'm not gonna blame the refs for anything. Kobe had a subpar game after a brilliant one in game 1, and you guys are so quick to make excuses for him. Yes, Gasol outplayed KG in game 1 and 2, but by your logic game 2 doesn't count. Your logic, not mine. Also, Ray Allen went through the same thing Kobe did in game 1, yet what happened for him in game 2?

Bottom line, if I came to you before game 2 and I said, you can either shoot 21 more FTs and have Kobe only play 34 mins, or Kobe can play 39 mins (his postseason avg) or more with 0 fouls, but Boston will shoot 21 more FTs, which would you choose? If you choose option 2, you're a little wacky.

btw, before you say it was only 15...the Celtics shot 6 FTs late in the 4th after the game was over and the Lakers were int. fouling

Hard to show up when Ron is all over you. When he had open looks, he knocked them down for the most part.

he has missed a lot of open shots though, to me it seems he's taking these games way too easily. big fucking baby is showing more emotions on the court than him.

I was surprised at the lack of aggression Pierce showed when Walton was guarding him. He settled for jumpers instead of abusing Walton and getting to the free throw line. Pierce has been kept in check so far and Artest is earning that paycheck defending him.
