A new group might not be such a bad thing, mainly because the guys that have been here have probably given what they can to the current group. I think Monty did some nice things, but Travis was probably his best work and that is not exactly a show pony.
This is being very generous. Bickerstaff sucks ass. Why replace a good but not great coach with a bad one? Oh right, he coached the Sonics once upon a time.
I'm going to say this is probably McMillan's last season unless he makes a deep run in the playoffs. I know he has the Seattle connection going on, but PA still wants results. They didn't hesitate to shitcan Jim Mora in Seattle after one season, which was actually the right move.
From what Travis was like when we drafted him, he has come a long way. Monty has worked with Nic from day 1 and done a terrific job with him.
That's why you don't like Bickerstaff? Shit, the entire coaching staff could be made up with the board members from Starbucks if I thought it would make the team better. I just think Bickerstaff is a pretty "blah" coach (where ever he's from).
We need a former Blazer center to coach, and Chris Dudley will be available in November. He'd be good.
The "new guy" has been around longer than both of us put together. But I understand how it works. If you don't agree with what someone syas, they become an idiot.
Sadly this is probably true. Hapefully when the Dems stay in charge they can slash more days from the school year.
So, the problem isn't only KP, it's Nate? Something is telling me these desperate moves have to do with PA's health, or lack thereof.
Rather than Nate going out and getting an 'offensive guru' or another offensive mind to bounce things off of, it almost looks like he's cleaning house and bringing in a bunch of like-minded yes men.
I'll vouch for lakeblazer. But then again, who'll vouch for me? OTOH, I'll vouch for mediocre man, so there goes my credibility right there.
Why the hell is it that every single Vulcan pick has to have a Seattle connection? It's starting to give me a rash.
