Wondering if what Pritchard has accomplished isn't enough, what will be enought for the next GM? Also wondering which established GM would put up with this bullshit (in other words, of course). He geniunely sounded confused as to why Pritchard is going to be fired, and equated Portland firing Pritchard to Dan Gilbert trying to pay Tom Izzo $30 million to coach, in the "what the fuck?" category.

The whole KP thing was done to confuse the fans, the other teams and the media, as KP and the Blazers trick the wizards into trading us the #1 pick for....

I don't know why but I tend to agree with you. Sure the Blazers could of handles this much, much better but in a sick and twisted way maybe this is Paul Allens way of letting KP know who is really in charge and to bring KP back to earth. I do believe that they are looking to see what is out there and who they can get and if they find someone better I see them making a move otherwise I see them keeping KP and hoping that he has been humbled in the process.

With all that said, I really wish we were privy to know how all this started. It has to be something pretty big and not something small and petty. One would think anyways.

WAAAAAAYYY too much damage has been done at this point. All that's left is to shovel the dirt in on the coffin.

Not necessarily. This is the Blazers we are talking about. When have they ever done what would seem logical? After they realize that they are only seeing re-tread GM's available, I think they will come to their senses and stay the course (unless they get someone that they absolutely want). I think a much more likely scenario could be that KP is fighting for his job on draft night. Make a bold move that brings in a star player or someone really good he likely keeps his job. If he drafts an overseas Euro again......Hes outa here!

No question Pritchard is gone....the fact they still seem to have no idea who is replacement will be is what scares me. But then again we never no what to expect when dealing with the Vulcans

I agree with you that at this point the 2 sides should part ways, damage has been done that in many ways is irreversible (even if they put a positive spin on everything). But logic has never has been one of the Blazers strong points.

Accidental Billionaires are accident prone. Sometimes they hire a good GM by accident, other times they fire him because his underwear do not match his tie.
